Please remember that you do NOT have to subscribe to anything, nor install any software on your computer to listen to our sermons … You can always go to http://podcast.wbts.org and listen to them directly on – line … The instructions below are for those who wish to do one or more of the following:

 

There are several ways to subscribe to our podcasts … we are going to be showing you the three that we feel are the easiest and most accessible.  Please remember that you ONLY have to subscribe to ONE of the three …. feel free to read through all three examples before choosing if you wish, or you can simply click on the method you'd prefer to use and automatically be taken to that section of the instructions :-)

 

Subscribe to the Blogs (simply notifying you of when sermons are posted, and then you can go and download them to your PC)

Subscribe to the RSS Feeds (being notified of when sermons are posted, and then being able to listen to the sermons through your internet browser)

Subscribe to the RSS Feed through ITunes (each time ITunes Podcasts are launched, the latest sermon will be downloaded to your PC for listening online or offline, you will have the ability to download all sermons, and you can then copy them to your IPod or other portable digital listening device to listen to on the go)

To subscribe directly to the web site and / or through the RSS feed on your internet browser (not using ITunes)

 First, you’ll need to navigate to the podcast web site by typing http://podcast.wbts.org into your internet browser window…

 

… which will take you to the Westminster Sermon web site …

 

 

... using the SCROLL BAR on the right hand side of the page, scroll down towards the bottom, where you will see a yellow box and a button that says “subscribe” …

 

 

… simply type in your e-mail address and you will then be notified whenever we post a new audio sermon to the site !!!

 

To subscribe to the RSS Feeds directly, you'll again need to navigate to the podcast web site by typing http://podcast.wbts.org into your internet browser window…

If you’re familiar with RSS feeds, or you subscribe to radio stations through your internet explorer, you can also add our site to your feed list by simply clicking on the “Podcast RSS 2.0” link about ½ way down the page on the left hand side !!!

 

 

… which will take you to all of or podcasts directly!

 

 

 … once there, you can click on the “Subscribe to this feed” link and you’ll then be prompted to save the feed on your computer …

 

 

You can change the name if you wish, and then click “SUBSCRIBE”, and you’ll then be taken back to the podcast page, where you can download any of the sermons you wish !!!

 

 

You’re Done !!!

 

If you wish to subscribe to the podcast through ITunes on your computer (the easiest way to then download them to your IPod!) follow these simple steps:

 

If you have not installed ITunes, download it (free of charge) from http://www.itunes.com …

 

 

 

 … and let the install run … then, launch ITunes from your Start Menu …

 

 

… the first time you open ITunes, you will have to agree to the End User License Agreement … Please read and accept the agreement  to continue …

 

Configuring ITunes

 

 

Once in ITunes, locate the “Podcasts” link on the left hand side of the page, click on it and you’ll be shown a message about subscribing to a podcast …

 

 

If you don’t wish to see this again, check the box next to “Do not show this message again” and then click “OK” ...

 

 

… You’ll now be looking at all of the podcasts you’ve subscribed to J … click on “Advanced” then “Subscribe to Podcast” to subscribe to the Westminster Sermons Podcasts …

 

 

… and you’ll be able to enter the podcast website … Enter http://podcast.wbts.org/podcasts-only/rss2.aspx

into the box and click “OK” …

 

 

… our latest sermon will automatically be displayed … to view all of our sermons that we have on – line, simply click on the Triangle next to the word “Sermons – Podcasts Only” …

 

 

  You can now “Get” all of the sermons, and copy them to your ITunes folder, and, if you wish, into your IPods !!!
