Sunday School Classes for Grades K through 5 Workshop Rotation Model - 9:45am to 10:45am Children gather in the chapel for a short devotional time and then rotate with their adult Shepherds to a different site each Sunday for a new experience involving the same topic. Sites will vary but may include Art, Music, Storytelling, Computers, Games, Cooking, Science or Video theater. New rotations begin each month and feature the major Bible stories. This year's adventures include Digging into the Bible, Ruth, Journey to Bethlehem, Jesus is Baptized, Road to Emmaus, Love Your Enemies, Who is Jesus?, and Pentecost. Material is PowerXPress by Abingdon Press publishers.
Sunday School Classes for Grades 6 through 8 and 9 through 12 Jesus Christ for Youth - 9:45am to 10:45am Both classes will be using the book "Jesus Christ for Youth." Through this resource, youth will meet Jesus Christ in a personal, meaningful, and life changing way and will immerse them in Jesus' life and teachings. Middle School (6-8) students will meet with Harvey Adams and his team of teachers in Room 5. High School students will meet with team teachers Chip Kent, Rodney Bookhardt, or Jay Triplett in the living room of the Peninsula House.
WBTS Nursery We are delighted with our caring and creative Nursery staff. Nursery classes are arranged as follows: Room 1a: Birth through 19 months, Room 1b: 20 months through age 3, Room 2: ages 4 and 5. The nursery is where children are taught Bible stories and participate in music, play, and art activities. Mom's Morning Out is offered 9:30am to 12:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month for newborns through age 5. Parent Date Night is offered by our Nursery Staff on the first Friday of each month, and the Baby Blessing Group offers support for expectant and new mothers. Our Nursery staff includes Sherry Argenbright (Director,) Kim Adams (Asst. Director,) Kim Brubaker, Caroline Harapas, Denise Mueller, and Christa Mischler.
Adult Sunday School 1 The Writings of CS Lewis - 9:45am to 10:45am Pete Zahn continues his class on the writings of CS Lewis in room 12a.
Adult Sunday School 2 Wisdom Writings of the Old Testament and Apocrypha - 9:45am to 10:45am Mrs. Mimi Wildridge continues leading the most intriguing Sunday School class with a Bible study that includes: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Job. From the Apocrypha the class will study Wisdom of Solomon and Wisdom of Jesus of Sirach. This class will meet in the back room (Library) of the Peninsula House.

WBTS Youth Group: Grades 6 through 12 Designated Sunday Afternoons 4:00pm to 5:30pm Our WBTS Youth Group has grown in excitement, activities and numbers. Activities include lock-ins, mission outreach at HUM, spiritual discussions, fun gatherings, assisting with VBS, summer mission trips, energizers, scavenger hunts, and short trips including Night of Joy at Disney World, and the Itchitucknee River Trip among others. Leaders are Jenny and Matt Sumner.
Kids Klub Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 4:45pm This after school group is for children from grades K through 5. It is an opportunity for children to experience God's love and build friendships. Each session starts on the playground and the children have a snack. Some weeks they visit the church library, hear Bible stories, or do mission projects. They offer praise to God through choral music and handbells and do arts and crafts. Children registered for Kids Klub are picked up at their various schools and transported to the church with parent pickup at 4:45pm.
Confirmation Class Tuesdays 4:15pm to 5:30pm Confirmation Class is an opportunity for middle school youth to become grounded in their faith and to learn about the Presbyterian Church, its roots, background, beliefs, missions, sacraments, and creeds. It's also an opportunity for the youth to have scavenger hunts, play sports and board games, assist in Lenten services, develop a taste for mission work, experience the joy of ministering to others, and to take short trips. Accepting Christ and joining the church are the culminating activities. Youth registered for Confirmation Class are picked up at their various schools and transported to the church with parent pickup at 5:30pm. Confirmation Class is led by Rev. Jeff Sumner.

Adult Bible Study Wednesdays from 11:00am to 12:00pm Rev. Jeff Sumner offers his weekly Adult Bible Study each Wednesday morning. This falls' text is the book of Revelation with Jeremiah being studied starting in January. This annual Bible study, which meets in the Fellowship Hall, has become a favorite among WBTS members and winter visitors.
Disciple Bible Studies Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:30pm Two Disciple classes are offered this year. Disciple 1 and Disciple 5: Jesus in the Gospels. The prerequisite for all Disciple Classes (excluding Disciple 1) is the completion of Disciple 1. Those who register for any of the Disciple classes embark on a year long Bible study that is a most comprehensive and enjoyable experience. These classes are closed once they are filled. They are led this year by Rev. George Painter (Disciple 1,) and David Hughes (Disciple 5.) |

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 9:00am to 11:30am This time for spiritual and emotional uplifting is focused on the Mothers of Preschoolers and gives them a forum for discussing their needs, sharing their problems, and brainstorming solutions. Participants' children, the Moppets, range in age from infant to 5 years old. They meet with the Moppet volunteers in the Sunday School wing while the Moms gather in the Fellowship Hall for food, information, and fellowship. MOPS is lead by Diana Conway and Kim Adams. Adult Computer Class - A four part series on learning how to work with a computer. Classes are on 1/19/08, 2/02/08, 2/23/08, and 3/08/08. All classes start at 9am in the Computer Lab (room 7.)
